The City
Extremely bright colours, even worse lighting, a camera with the lowest possible ISO performance and a thousand other excuses – that’s another way to describe the elements I was fighting while making these pictures of a theater play called The City.

Menagerie
A few of my friends lost their pets during the last month. I knew many of them for some time and captured them on various occasions; therefore, I decided to create a small gallery dedicated to pets around me, both the living and the dead. Photographs that portray the dead are marked by a black ribbon with the date of their death.

Craft and Vision for the second time
EBooks that aren’t in Czech republic – that’s how you can describe the publication I’m writing about. If I went to any local bookstore looking for photography books, I would not be able but to wonder if everyone want only books like Tutorial to Wedding photography, Street photography in ten easy steps, Mastering time, aperture and ISO in three minutes. As if a technically perfect photograph – and these books without a huge amount of practise don’td help to produce any – could actually move anyone. They speak only about HOW, but not about WHY.

Notorburg 2011
This year’s Notorburg was neither too rainy, nor too hot – so as to the weater it was really cosy. But no matter how much hotter Notorburg 2010 was, it was also better. I forgot lots od details since last year, of course, and the absence of my friends didn’t work as a benefit for this year’s battle as well.
