Bretagne
I’ve been paying less attention to this site for some time. I was writing my final paper for the Prague Photography School and it took almost all of my time. I used all the time I was able to save upto shoot the Taverna Ball, and only the eagerly waiting audience made me do the postproduction and publishing.
Now I’m back and also Zack is back. Zack Arias currently announced his new workshop under the Creative Live stamp. This year’s promo video is cool, however, not as cool as last year’s video. Zack persuaded me to buy the video from this course even before they started to shoot it. I really do trust in his knowledge and teaching skills, and I can’t wait to watch it.
Mentioning Zack as a teacher on Creative Live, I must also write about another of their teachers, David duChemin in whose his last year workshop I won all his books and some ThinkTank gear. He announced his new book Photographically Speaking: A Deeper Look at Creating Better Images (Voices That Matter) bout a week ago, and you can preorder this book from Amazon. I expect it’s obvious that I believe also in his skills and I have already preordered it.
Enough advertising for others, now about me. It’s very probable that I finish my studies on the Prague Photography School this July, but I’ll be there again in September. The director asked me to teach some lectures in the first school year. I don’t know if this is his revenge for my last seminar paper, where I suggested how to transform our school according to the twenty first century’s demands. In any case, now I am to teach almost every one of the lectures which were previously done by Ing. Honskus, that means Shooting technique, Photographic technique and Digital photography. That’s almost one fourth of the first school year. Dr. Vlášek also offered me part of his Photography creation seminary, but I declined, because the preparation for those already accepted will take a huge amount of time.
That were the news and now to the pictures. It’s more than a month since I was in Bretagne, and until now nobody saw any results. Now it’s time, here are my photographs from Bretagne from my digital camera and next week I’ll publish photographs from my film camera together with some text. That’s enough of words, now it’s time for pictures.
